Our Process
Onsite Meeting & Assessment
- Enjoy a free introductory onsite meeting to assess the opportunities and constraints of your site and to discuss your design brief in detail. We'll explore design options with you and how to best meet your core space requirements without compromising your vision.
- We'll conduct research to define zoning, council compliance requirements, and relevant connections to services.
Quotation
- We summarise your project requirements, make enquiries, and engage our architect to draft some initial plans.
- We provide you with a detailed quotation highlighting inclusions and exclusions.
Preliminary Approval
- With pre-approval we can then draft detailed architectural plans showing elevations and 3D images.
- Site-specific plans will shows levels and stormwater, as well as soil reports. The plans will show the layout of existing structures and the landscape in relation to the new addition.
- We submit all required plans and documents for development approval with your local council.
Building Contract
- Once building approval is secured, we can then provide a building contract for you to review and sign.
- At this stage, we document any changes since planning approval and also note building conditions.
- We produce the final fixed-price contract in line with building regulations. This will outline the agreement between Core-Space Habitats and you, the homeowner. This contract details the project, specifications, inclusions, and payment terms and conditions.
Construction
- Once the building permit has been issued, we can begin construction.
- We are a passionate team that value good relations and results. You can be assured our results-driven attitude will allow you to relax and enjoy the build.
- We will communicate with you at all stages of the build.
- Much of our build process happens offsite so when site progress slows onsite you can be assured that work is still progressing. This also results in faster onsite progress overall.
- Each stage of the build will have critical stage inspections by yourself and the site supervisor.
- We deliver your new habitat finished to a high standard with all service connections made.
Handover
- We provide you with a certificate of completion.
- We arrange a walkthrough with you to explain the features and details as required.
